What is Wordle Unlimited?
Wordle unlimited is the 5-letter word guessing game without the one-a-day rule: finish a puzzle and the next one is a button-press away, forever. You get six guesses; after each one the tiles tell you the truth — green means right letter, right spot; yellow means right letter, wrong spot; dark means not in the word. Our version draws from 1,600 common answers (no obscure dictionary traps as solutions) while accepting 12,000+ valid guesses, tracks your streak and win rate on your device, and gives you the classic emoji grid to share. Free, no download, no signup — and no waiting until tomorrow.
How to play
- Type a real 5-letter word and press Enter — keyboard or on-screen keys both work.
- Read the colors: 🟩 right letter & spot, 🟨 in the word elsewhere, ⬛ not in the word.
- Use the clues to solve it within six guesses.
- Hit ▶ New word (or Enter) and go again immediately — this is the unlimited part.
Tips & tricks
- Open with vowel-heavy scouts: ADIEU, AUDIO or RAISE test the word's skeleton fast.
- Second guess = new letters: if little stuck, burn a word like SLOTH or CRIMP instead of forcing near-misses.
- Watch for repeats: a yellow letter can appear twice — LEVEL, SASSY and their kin end many streaks.
- Warm up your vocabulary with Hangman or group words in Connections Unlimited between rounds.
FAQ
How is wordle unlimited different from the daily wordle?
No daily limit: finish a word and the next puzzle is one press away, forever. It's our own implementation of the 5-letter formula (not affiliated with The New York Times) with 1,600 common answers, 12,000+ accepted guesses, streaks and the classic shareable emoji grid.
What are the best wordle starting words?
Vowel-rich openers like ADIEU, AUDIO or RAISE cover the most ground. A strong second word introduces five new letters (SLOTH, CRIMP). From there, play the probabilities — and remember letters can repeat.
Is wordle unlimited free? Does it save my stats?
Free, no download, no account. Played, win rate, streak and total wins save in your browser's local storage — clearing site data resets them, bragging rights not included.
Fan-made word game in the wordle style. Not affiliated with or endorsed by The New York Times.
