What are rainbow obby games?
Rainbow obby games are colorful obstacle courses built around running, jumping and precise landings. Marmot Skyline includes three separate original 3D courses: Cloud Steps teaches clean jumps, Prism Routes asks you to follow changing color-and-symbol landings, and Aurora Gauntlet combines moving platforms, blinking tiles and a rotating sweeper.
Each course has three named A, B and C layouts, giving you nine routes to stamp. Clear one route to unlock the next course, then return for four mastery medals: finish all three layouts, clear all three without falling, collect every prism on all three and beat every layout's par time. Progress stays on this device; there is no account or download.
How to play
- Choose Cloud Steps, Prism Routes or Aurora Gauntlet, then select its A, B or C layout. Unstamped routes are marked NEW.
- Press WASD or the arrow keys to move in four independent directions. Press Space to jump. Touch controls appear on phones and tablets.
- Reach the rainbow midpoint gate to save the course checkpoint. Falling after it returns you there immediately.
- In Prism Routes, match both the color name and white symbol. In Aurora Gauntlet, wait for a safe sweeper gap or jump fully over the bar.
Tips & tricks
- Release before the edge. Air control is softer than ground movement, so set your line before jumping.
- Use the symbols as well as color. Coral is ▲, Citrus is ◆, Aqua is ●, Sky is ✦ and Violet is ■.
- Watch one full sweeper rotation before crossing its bridge. The camera stays steady, so the bar's rhythm is reliable.
- Follow the route stamps. The next-route button prioritizes an unstamped layout. Replay keeps the exact seed and obstacle timing for practice.

How many Rainbow Obby courses are there?
There are three separate 3D courses: Cloud Steps, Prism Routes and Aurora Gauntlet. Each has its own start, finish, timer and midpoint checkpoint. Clear one to unlock the next.
Does Rainbow Obby have more than one route?
Yes. Each of the three courses has A, B and C layouts, for nine named routes in total. New Route prioritizes one you have not stamped yet, while Replay keeps the exact seed and obstacle timing for practice.
What are the 12 Rainbow Obby medals?
Each course has four mastery medals. Complete all three layouts, run all three without falling, collect every prism on all three, and beat the separate par time for all three. One perfect run cannot finish an entire course's medal set.
What happens when I fall?
You return quickly to the current course's rainbow checkpoint instead of restarting the whole campaign. Falls reduce the final score slightly, but there are no lives to buy and no account is required.
Can I play Rainbow Obby on a phone or Chromebook?
Yes. Phones and tablets get a four-direction pad plus a large jump button. Laptops use WASD or arrows and Space. The low-poly Three.js scene automatically limits pixel density on touch devices.
Is color vision required?
No. Every route color has a white shape too: Coral ▲, Citrus ◆, Aqua ●, Sky ✦ and Violet ■. The HUD and platforms show both cues.
